Q: What if OCAP runs out of funding?
A: Please contact your nearest Native Friendship Center.
Q: Do I qualify for funding?
A: In order to qualify for funding, you must be of Aboriginal ancestry, out of work, underemployed, or on EI (unemployment) now or in the past three years.
Q: I have a job, but it doesn't pay enough. I would like improve my working skills. Can I access funding?
A: Yes, you can access funding.
Q: How old are youth?
A: Youth ages for OCAP are 15-30 years old.
Q: Can I access funding for Education purposes?
A: If you are in your last year of a college program, you may qualify for tuition only.
Q: I am enrolled in a college program. Is there any sort of assistance for living expenses?
A: Depending on the program length and your financial situation.
Q: I have a new job that requires clothing that I can not afford. Is there any sort of assistance available?
A: Yes, there is limited funding available for this purpose.
